While there is still no news of the official release date for Version 1.2, Kuro Games has revealed the Resonators that will debut in Wuthering Waves 1.3 Convenes. The Shorekeeper and Youhu are expected to be flexible in their roles as per the latest leaks on their build. Version 1.3 could also introduce a reincarnation animation or feature as a part of the divine Shorekeeper.
Wuthering Waves Drip Marketing For Version 1.3 Reveals The Shorekeeper and Yuohu
On August 4, Kuro Games’ drip marketing of Wuthering Waves 1.3 characters gave fans the first graphics of Youhu and The Shorekeeper. The archive files of Youhu mention that they are a “natural expert in identifying antiques” because of their ability to trace the history of the items by examining their textures. On the other hand, The Shorekeeper is a “mysterious divine being” that seemingly will be summoned by Rover in the Main Story.
Interestingly, The Shorekeeper will be the first 5-star Black Shores organization that players would be able to obtain from the Wuthering Waves banners. The mysterious figure has spent eons guarding the world and has a “firm determination” to connect with Rover as per their archive file.
Contrary to rumors, Camellya may not feature in the 1.3 Convenes. The two unnamed female Resonators mentioned in previous Wuthering Waves 1.3 leaks have turned out to be The Shorekeeper and Yuohu. Moreover, the Shorekeeper is the ‘coastguard’ that was alluded to by the leaks.
Wuthering Waves 1.3 Character Leaks: Element, Weapon, & Build
The Shorekeeper is the only 5-star Resonator revealed for Version 1.3. Yuohu, the 4-star Resonator, is thus rumored to feature as an event reward similar to how Xiangli Yao could be acquired from the Wuthering Waves 1.2 Moon Chasing Festival.
Leaks about the Wuthering Waves 1.3 characters, courtesy of Team Mew, claim Yuohu is a Glacio Element Resonator who uses Gauntlets. Youhu is stated to be a “cooperative attack supporter like Sanhua.” However, the Resonator’s kit includes a bit of RNG (randomly generated number) that influences her attributes, which is why she is believed to be both a Support and a sub-DPS.
The leaks also mention that The Shorekeeper is a Spectro Element Resonator who uses a Rectifier. There are different tags associated with the Black Shores member including ‘healer’, ‘increase damage’, and ‘increase resistance.’ Their Elemental Burst is similar to Calcharo whereas their skills have different and beautiful animations.
The Shorekeeper is also rumored to possess an ‘incarnation mechanism’ that turns them into a butterfly. A hint about the mechanic can be seen in the character’s headgear design.
