Wuthering Waves By Moon’s Grace is the highlight of the Version 1.2 events. Also known as the Moon Chasing Festival, the themed event will run for the entirety of the new version and allow players to rake Astrite, Premium Sealed Tubes, and other development materials. Xiangli Yao can also be obtained from the event in Phase 2 of Wuthering Waves 1.2.
Wuthering Waves By Moon’s Grace Event and Eligibility
The ‘By Moon’s Grace’ event will be available after the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update. It will begin on August 15 after the scheduled maintenance period and end on September 28, 2024, at 15:59 Server Time. Players will need to update their game to the latest version to experience the new content, though.
According to the official Notice on the Wuthering Waves website, there are two prerequisites to participate in the new event in Version 1.2:-
- A Union Level 17 or above
- Complete Main Quest Chapter 1 Act 3 ‘Ominous Star’
Union Levels can be gained by collecting Union EXP from Main Story missions, side stories, and Companion Quests. Zhezhi, the upcoming new playable Resonator, will be introduced to players via her Companion mission in Wuthering Waves 1.2.
Wuthering Waves Moon Chasing Festival Event Gameplay Details
In order to get all rewards from the Wuthering Waves By Moon’s Grace event, Rovers need to increase their Popularity points to a required threshold. Popularity is earned in the event by making Fair Stalls and completing Wishes. Event-specific Funds will be required to construct the Fair Stalls and make Wishes.
Riddle Twiddle, Hsuin’s Fortuity, and Thus Says The Moon are the three Fair Stalls that one can make in the event. That said, they can also interact with the stalls to get rewards.
Players can also hire Resonators as Companions after completing event-related Moments with them. These Resonators, which include Baizhi and Zhezhi, have Knowledge, Teamwork, and Action. Their stats can be increased with Wish Tags, which in turn is obtained by increasing one’s Wish Rating. Companions also possess the Eureka mechanic which, when triggered, allows players to invest Funds for higher income. “Higher risks accompany better rewards” according to Kuro Games.
Wuthering Waves By Moon’s Grace Rewards: When Will Xiangli Yao Appear In The Event?
The rewards for the Moon Chasing Festival event in Wuthering Waves Version 1.2 include:-
- Xiangli Yao (5-star Resonator)
- 1200 Astrite
- Premium Sealed Tube
- Premium Resonance Potion
- Premium Tuner
- Shell Credits
Xiangli Yao can only be obtained from September 7 to the end of the event, provided that players have earned enough Popularity during the festival to claim the Resonator. The suspected Electro-Gauntlets character can be obtained from the ‘Converging Paths’ event pane.
Wuthering Waves By Moon’s Grace is an eagerly awaited event. It will have multiple mechanics to keep players busy till the arrival of Version 1.3. Moreover, they can get Xiangli Yao and at least 7 Tides of their choice by converting the 1200 Astrite from the event.
Alongside the upcoming events and Resonators, Kuro Games also disclosed the storage space required for Wuthering Waves 1.2. Fortunately, the new version isn’t demanding.
