Ahead of the 1.2 update, Kuro Games has relaunched the Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing Double Drop event. Players can collect upgrade materials and Echoes to strengthen their current team or plan the build for the upcoming Resonators, Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi. Those who require Union EXP to get to the next Ascension breakthrough challenge can also capitalize on this event.
Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing Event Duration & Eligibility
Available for a week, the Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing event will begin on August 6 and end on August 13, 2024, at 03:59 Server Time. It can be found at the bottom of the events page. According to the event description, the Waveworn Phenomenon has caused a surge in the energy of the Tacet Fields and players can take advantage by claiming double rewards.
The only prerequisite to unlock the Chord Cleansing event in Wuthering Waves is Union Level 19 or above. To level up one’s account in the game, players need to earn Union EXP by completing the Main Story, Companion Quests, Side Story missions, and win Simulation Challenges.
Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing: Double Drop Event Details
Similar to the ongoing Genshin Impact Bing-Bang Flinchball challenge, Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing is a renewed iteration of the Double Drop event. The previous event was available from June 20 to June 27. That said, there aren’t any major changes in the latest iteration.
When the Chord Cleansing event is active, players can spend Waveplates and earn double rewards from the Tacet Suppression challenges. They can only claim the ‘2X rewards’ three times a day while the daily claim limit is reset at 4:00 Server Time. Once players use their three claims, they can check the available double rewards on the Wuthering Waves Chord Cleansing event page.
The ‘double drop’ takes effect when players use Waveplates to claim the rewards from the Tacet Suppression challenges. If they wish not to use their bonuses, they can just clear the Tacet Field and move on to the next. Only three claims are available so be sure to use them wisely.
Chord Cleansing will culminate a day before Changli is removed from the Featured Resonator Convene in Wuthering Waves 1.1 Phase 2. Version 1.2 update will be released subsequently for all devices.
