Among the unique systems added in the gacha RPG by Kuro Games is the Wuthering Waves Intimacy Levels. The main character, Rover, can increase his/her bond with other playable Resonators in the team. At a certain Intimacy Level, players would get more background information about a Resonator and unlock other exciting things in the game.
How To Increase Intimacy Points In Wuthering Waves?
Wuthering Waves Intimacy Levels are fueled by Intimacy Points. These points can be earned, rather than collected, meaning that they aren’t tangible objects. Players can increase the Intimacy between Rover and another playable character by choosing both of them in their active team and completing missions. The points gained to increase their bonding differ based on the challenges they overcome together.
There are five ways to gain Intimacy Points in Wuthering Waves: completing Daily and Weekly quests, clearing Tacet Discord fields, Simulation Training, and completing Forgery Challenges. The points rewarded for each action has been listed below:-

Daily and Weekly Quests feature Wuthering Waves Intimacy Points as claimable rewards in the form of a purple heart icon. Keep an eye out for such quests to appear on your list. Moreover, enemies with a purple heart on the top of their heads can also provide Intimacy Points. Tacet Fields have a lot of enemies in each wave so players have better chances of witnessing a few purple heart icons appearing on top of the Tacet Discords as compared to adventuring in the open world.
Wuthering Waves Intimacy Level Rewards
Once players form a strong bond between Rover and another Resonator in their collection by achieving a certain Intimacy Level, they can unlock two rewards. First, Rover will be able to interact with the Resonator in new ways because the character will have more chat options. Both characters will also get new voicelines that highlight their bond or personality quirks.
Increasing the Wuthering Waves Intimacy Level can also reward players with Cherished Items. These items are prized possessions of the Resonators that Rover has bonded with, a memento of sorts, which offers more lore on a character. It has no value in combat but it is proof of the Wuthering Waves intimacy shared between Rover and the fellow Resonator.
Players who didn’t know about the mechanic until now can find the Wuthering Waves Intimacy Level on the Resonator profile page. Open the Main Menu ⟶ Resonator ⟶ select the Resonator whose Intimacy Level one wants to check ⟶ Information ⟶ notice the ‘Intimacy’ written below the character’s name.
More interesting gameplay mechanics are expected to be introduced by the Wuthering Waves 1.1. As of present, Kuro Games has revealed the upcoming characters and fixes in the update.
