Zenless Zone Zero’s gacha mechanic has already compelled players to think about a reroll. They want to acquire powerful characters at the beginning to ease their progress in the main story. Although HoYoverse hasn’t provided a setting for refreshing one’s account refresh, a reroll is still possible and it requires a new HoYo account from which players need to log into ZZZ.
How To Complete A Zenless Zone Zero Reroll?
Zenless Zone Zero doesn’t have an account reset or reroll option. All Agents and items obtained at the beginning of the game are saved in a player’s HoYoverse account. Moreover, they cannot change the male (Wise) or female (Belle) Proxy that they chose during the Prologue.
The only way to get a fresh start in Zenless Zone Zero is by creating a new HoYoverse account. This will require a new email. - Create a new email. On Google Mail, the process will require one’s phone number, a unique username and password, and other personalization settings. Players can also use an existing secondary email.
- Navigate to the HoYoverse account page (https://account.hoyoverse.com). Use the new email or a secondary email to ‘Register’ a new account.
- Launch Zenless Zone Zero on your device. Use the new HoYoverse account to log in to the game.
PlayStation 5 users may have to unlink their existing HoYoverse account from their PSN account from the Settings. As mentioned by a Reddit user, players need to Sign In with their HoYoverse account on the official website with the throwaway account and then unlink their PSN account. After launching the game, they can complete a Zenless Zone Zero reroll by linking their new HoYo account.
Having a fresh start in ZZZ is advantageous as players have a chance to get the 5-star character they want from the banners. However, there is also a disadvantage to it.
Is An Account Reroll Needed In Zenless Zone Zero?
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.0 introduced two 5-star Agents., Ellen Joe and Zhu Yuan. Both of them are considered to be the meta. However, obtaining either of the two characters isn’t necessary because players can get good value from starter Agents such as Billy Kid as well as some 4-star Agents. Instead of the gacha, players must focus on the gameplay and story at the beginning because there will be plenty of time to collect all Agents in the future.
