Pathfinder: A Well-liked Character of Apex Legends
In Apex Legends, Pathfinder has nearly always been a well-liked character. His amusing voice lines, an upbeat demeanour, and tactical Grappling Hook skill made him popular with Apex players very early on in the game’s development. However, there has been somewhat of a decline in the number of Pathfinder mains over the last few years. With his well-liked personality and entertaining playstyle, Pathfinder was once without a doubt one of the best characters in the game. However, he suffered several nerfs. New and improved Pathfinder Character
The fact that Pathfinder has finally climbed to the top of the Apex Legends Status pick rate charts and become the most-picked legend in the game, it appears that Apex fans are just as excited about the new and improved Pathfinder as they have ever been. It’s interesting to note that despite receiving a buff, Pathfinder’s lack of a strong passive continues to rank among the character’s biggest grievances among Apex players.
Pathfinder was made strong and unique by scanning survey beacons, especially in professional play and the ALGS, where knowledge of future rings influences the entire playing strategies of various teams. That passive was later extended to all recon characters, which spelt the beginning of his demise in the ALGS. Later, in season 16, the passive was changed to the infamous skirmisher passive, which is arguably even worse. Even though Pathfinder’s ultimate has a 10-second reduction in cooldown whenever he reveals the contents of a care package, using his passive ability is far easier to forget than it is to feel its impact.
Conclusion
The Grappling Hook is the most enjoyable movement ability in Apex, a game that prides itself on movement. One of the most distinctive aspects of Apex is the ability to slingshot yourself across the Outlands, which, in the hands of skilled players, can result in some of the combat’s most complex and compelling moments.
